I knew Robert Scott for a short time in the early 1980's. He worked at the local food co-op, wrote poetry, and was from out East somewhere. He gave me this collection of his poetry, Poems from Last Summer, and then suddenly vanished. I printed the book, and sent off his copies to an East Coast address supplied by a mutual friend. I never saw nor heard from him again. The book was printed on paper salvaged from the sacred bins from which Midnight Paper Sales gets its name. It contains two multi-colored images printed from cheese cloth collages fixed onto the surface of a discarded offset printing blanket.
5 x 6 1/2 inches. 24 pages. 120 copies. |
