With all the type set and the engravings (below) well on their way, proofing and final layout are next.  Some adjustments, and then on to printing.

Old Swayback, by Jim Heynen, is the next book in the "Little Book" series. It is a delightful little story about an old barn that the men are ready to tear down, but the boys are not. The type has been hand set in Italian Oldstyle by Julia Hinderlie. The engravings will be based on Patti & Lowell Moline's old barn. They'll be carved out of finished maple half-rounds, to prepare for similiar methods in the Sylva: Farm 590.
